Two of my favourite things are travelling ( particularly to the Caribbean) and food ( both eating it and cooking it)!
As we are coming up to Christmas I thought I would share some recipes and traditions which they enjoy in the Caribbean at this time of year. Maybe you could try some of them and 'spice up' your Christmas a bit this year - quite literally!
In September I was lucky enough to go on a familiarisation visit to Grenada courtesy of the Grenada Tourist Board. We had a fab trip and visited and stayed in lots of different hotels. Grenada is a wonderful island which caters for all markets, but in particular for independent adults who like to get out and about and see more of the island. It is a very safe island with lots of things to see and do.
I recently, finally managed to visit Sandals Barbados. I was very excited as I have sold it many times over the last couple of years, since it opened, and have heard wonderful things about the property but now I was going to see it for myself. Also, this is the first time I have visited any Sandals ( couples only hotels) as an actual couple! I was allowed to bring hubbie along.
Your honeymoon should be the trip of your dreams as well as the trip of a lifetime. Whether you prefer a paradise island, where you will sink into your private suite, enjoying lazy breakfasts in bed, soaking up glorious sunshine alone together or maybe you would prefer an amazing adventure, taking in an African Safari or exploring the temples of Cambodia and the historic sights of Vietnam? There are so many decisions to make before you decide on your honeymoon destination.
This February half term I took my youngest daughter, Charlotte and husband John off to Tobago to test out the new direct Thomas Cook flight from Manchester and to see what this lovely green and picturesque island has to offer.
New York is a fantastic destination at any time of year. It is great as a destination on it's own or as part of a twin centre with another city in America, a Caribbean Island or maybe a week in Orlando.
Lisa was there in September to discover it's delights.
We feature holidays to the islands of Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica and Mexico, plus a lot of the lesser known islands such as Anguilla, St Vincent & The Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Grenada and many more. Although not officially in the Caribbean Sea, we also feature holidays to Bermuda.
Our website shows you a lot of the destinations and hotels that we recommend, but this is just a taste of what we can offer.
